Acrobat 7 - stamp appearing sideways

I have created a stamp that appears sideways whenever I add it to a document. As this is an old version (pro 7) it doesnt have a handle on it to rotate. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.

if the PDF is an image PDF (i.e. created from scanner), export to TIFF and then create a new PDF from the TIFFs. this will likely resolve the problem. this tip is not the only solution. if it does not resolve the 'rotation' issue, i'll suggest another way to address it.

Converting to a tiff and then re-creating did not resolve the problem. Appreciate your other suggestions.

1) import the PDF to MS Office Doument Imaging (import and save as TIFF, not MDI). (MODI comes with MS office.) next, create a new PDF from the TIFF file.
2) import the PDF (or exported TIFF) to Photoshop or Photoshop Elements (must be done one page at a time) and re-save as PDF.
Note: there are several threads on this pesky issue where i (and others) have contributed tips. in search field enter the key words "rbogie" and "rotate"
