Acrobat 8 Bookmarks

*using acrobat 8 standard*
In a weekly report, we use about the same number of pages with graphs, charts, etc. and we use bookmarks to help when reading. Each week we load the last week's report and delete the old pages but keep the bookmarks because each page has the same title. After creating the new pages, we are required to reset each bookmark to correspond to a new page.

Is there any way to have this done automatically or will we have to do it manually everytime? Is there a better way to accomplish the same task?

You should use the "Replace pages" feature instead of deleting and adding pages.

Depending upon how the report is generated, it might be possible to add the bookmarks through the authoring program or if the bookmarks are just going to a page, you could alse create a script to create the bookmarks and once you hvae that script, you can add a menu item or tool button with some additional scripting.

How does the "replace pages" feature work? Will I have to replace each page individually or can it be applied to a whole report?

And how does the script feature work could we create a script using the bookmarks we currently have and then use uit as a template for future reports?
