Acrobat 8 Standard and image import/export

Does Acrobat 8 Standard let you import/export and edit images the same way the Pro version does.

I created a pdf with proffesional (trial version) I now have the standard version and I cannot work out how to edit the image, I want to delete it and insert another, but can't seem to. The pdf is not locked and the properties show it is fully accessable. I am a newbie with acrobat.
