I have upgraded from Acro Prof 8.0 to 8.1 using the patch, and Acrobat won't start. I find the problem is in eight api that are in the plug-ins folder: checkers, editor, EWH32, MakeAccessible, etc. If they are disabled Acrobat 8.1 starts, but the plug-ins are not working. It could be that the patch does not change the Registry completely. Have you got an updated patch or workaround?
