Acrobat 9 and Enable User Rights

Hi. Have there been any changes to the Enable User Rights feature in Acrobat 9?

In other words, is there a way for a master user/owner to have a higher level of rights in order to be able to override the disabled areas so as to make changes to the pdf document's text, meta tags etc (which are disabled once user rights are enabled)

Otherwise, even the creator/owner of the form has to save a copy of the form and rename it/completely overwrite with a new form)...does 9 have any enhancements or quicker ways around this?

Thanks

Acrobat Pro 8.1.1, Windows

Nope, as far as Reader Rights enabling goes Acrobat 9 is exactly the same as Acrobat 8. But what you have described it the correct methodology. It's a one way path. Always make changes in the original document and then re-Enable.

I have 146 separate files that I want to Enable User Rights for. Is there any way I can use the Batch Processing system in Acrobat 9 Pro Ext to do this quickly? It worked fine for setting the security for each file. I'm guessing maybe a line of Javascript would do it?

May I say here how fantastic the User Rights feature is. Top marks to Acrobat for providing it.

No, there's no way to automate adding usage rights with Acrobat.

To Automate Reader Enabling you have to own the Extended Rights server.
