Acrobat 9 Pro no longer recognizes xls files

I am no longer able to convert xls files to pdf inside Acrobat 9 Pro (I can convert them in Excel).

I was working to set up a new batch file process when I discovered that I don't have the actions I need.

When I look under Edit, Preferences, Converting to PDF, Microsoft Excel is no longer listed as an available type.

I have already run repair on Acrobat today. Any other advice other than totally uninstalling and re-installing?

I have 200+ files to convert so opening each one in Excel and then converting it is not a great option.

I am running Acrobat 9.3.3 which does not appear to be an option in your Product Version List.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.3.1, Windows

Might you be working in Office 2010?
If so, you'd have to print from the Office 2010 application to the Adobe Printer.

See: Acrobat FAQ

If not in Office 2010, try the "repair" of Acrobat (under the Advanced drop-down").

Be well...

I am not running Office 2010. I am way back at 2003.

I have already run repair twice (once inside Acrobat and once using Control panel).

I see that I also am missing .doc from the list of recongized file formats.

Other suggestions?

I see that distillerpi.api is not showing as currently loaded. But it is in the Acrobat9.0/ acrobat/plug-in folder.

How can I load that plug-in?
