Acrobat font not accessible from other Windows apps

I'm building a suite of forms in LiveCycle Design. All LCD objects seem to default to the _Myriad_Pro_ font; I haven't found anywhere to change that default so I've learned to live with it.

Because I now need to add a LOT of text from a Word document to numerous text objects (labels, not text fields) in one of my forms (we're talking probably 400 text boxes), I'd like to change the text in the Word doc to the same font so I can just copy and paste the text into each text box.

However, Myriad Pro is not installed as a Windows (XP) font. So I can't do a simple copy and paste into the form...instead I have to type the text into each text box.

I've tried using the Fonts - Install New Font option, but I get an error from the Windows Fonts Folder:

"The MYRIADPRO-REGULAR.OTF file is currently being used and cannot be replaced. Wait until Windows is finished using the file, and then try again."

This happens even if every application is closed, and even after I restarted the system. I'm a little confused about how *WIndows* can be using the font if it's not available as a Windows font and isn't in the Fonts folder...

Can anyone help me get that font into Windows? Thanks in advance!

Some Adobe fonts are installed with Acrobat. In XP, look through the Program Files directory to locate Acrobat. There's a fonts directory nested there. Use Window's font install process to browse to these and install.

Be well...
