I'm having problems with Acrobat Pro 8. Whenever I try to rotate or minimize file size, if I click on any of the drop-menus, the whole program freezes and shuts itself down. However the rotating does work if I don't click on the menus (e.g. for selecting the direction).

I don't think this is a memory problem because it has worked before on the same laptop. I've tried updating to the latest version (8.1.2) and re-installing, problem is still there.

Anyone knows how to deal with this? Any hints will be much appreciated.

I have the same problem; over the last couple of weeks it started happening every so often, gradually started happening more frequently, and now happens every time I attempt to rotate a page in a document. I am using Acrobat Standard 8.1.2. When I click on Help/Repair Acrobat Installation, I get a popup that says something like 'can't find installer source' even though I have the CD in the drive, just in case that's what it's looking for. Really, I don't know what this popup means.
