Acrobat Professional version 8.1

The latest version of Acrobat appears to be displaying a substitute font when I specify OCR-A. Previous releases and even Acrobat Reader 7 on my computer display the proper font. Does anyone have any idea how I can rectify this?

If the font is not embedded and you want the PDF to use your local fonts make sure the following preference is turned on:
Edit > Preferences (Windows) or
Acrobat 8 > Preferences (Mac OS)
Under Categories, select Page Display, and then select Use Local Fonts.
