Acrobat to scan in background ...

I have Acrobat 9.0 pro T.he issue I am having is that when I scan documents, Acrobat, the scan status window, and the page by page status box, stay open and on top of the other applications. Is there any way to have the scanning occur "in the background" while you work on other things? Or at least stop the darn page by page box from jumping into the middle of the screen at each page?

As long a dialog is opened you're not able to use Acrobat otherwise.

Acrobat offers batch sequences for background tasks but scanning is not included.
You will need a third party solution.
