Hey people,

I Try to add a footer like 'page x of y' to the footer, but I cant find the code for other than the current page <<1>>. Does anybody know if total number of pages is possible and how?

The add header footer menu item does not provide for this, nor is there a JavaScript method to add a header or footer. But there is a menu option and JavaScript method to add a water mark or background from text . For the menu item one need to do this for each page, but using JavaScript one can programmatically loop through each page and add the page number and number of pages to the text.

I'm sorry but do we understand eachother? Does a great product like Acrobat not support total number of pages, but only current page number?

My mistake, have you looked at the "style" drop down options?

You have the choice of " 1 of n", "1/n" or "Page 1 of n".

Maybe its that the dutch translation is misleading.
