Hi,
I have some pdf's I want to publish, but I need to add margin space. These are scanned images of book pages. Is there a setting when I convert the tif's to pdf or can I redistill the pdf's to get more margin space?

Thanks,

You can modify pages size using Acrobat 7/8 > Document menu > Crop Pages...;-)

Thanks Merlin. I have used that feature for reducing margin, but I don't quite know how to add margin. Could you tell me how? (using the crop feature)

Thanks

If I could add something... I was playing with the Crop tool and I noticed something. I was looking in my Adobe Acrobat 8 PDF Bible by Ted Padova and on page 461 where Ted shows you how to use the Crop tool, it shows 4 options. "Crop Box", "Art Box", "Trim Box", and "Bleed Box". When I open my Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard program, and then open the "Crop Pages" dialog box, I do not get the choice for these options. Nor do I have the "Change Page Size" option in my Crop Pages dialog box like it is shown in the book. Can anyone comment on this?

Thanks

Never use Standard - only Pro .. maybe you do indeed have a smaller crop pages option? It's not documented in the book - I myself always thought crop pages was the same in both applications?

I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999

Thanks,
Can anyone confirm if the differences in the Crop Pages dialog box that I mentioned in my previous post is indeed a difference between Acobat 8.0 Pro and Standard?

Thanks

It probably requires Acrobat Pro...

Choose a bigger size in Acrobat 7/8 Pro > Document menu > Crop Pages
using the "Change page size" function.
