Adobe 8.1 Select and Paste

In Adobe 7.0 you could select as text or as an image. I used the select as image to paste tables of data into spreadsheets as references. Now I do not seem to have that option and the tables data comes in as text and is a mess. Is there a way to select a portion of the page and paste it as a bitmap in 8.1?

Use the 'snapshot' tool instead.

Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac) in the top toolbar area and then select 'More Tools' and select under the 'Select and Zoom Toolbar' area ...
