Issue:
User tries to open a PDF from Web or Email and they get the error "There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found" If they save the pdf to thier desktop it works fine. Have searched the forums and found a some "fixes" which don't seem to work. Display PDF in browser is selected and tried without it selected. For some of the users we can clean the temporary internet files and it works. Some users still have the issue after that with FTP sites. Any suggestions?

Also have to add. If I install Adobe 7 the issue goes away. If I install Adobe 8 or 9 it comes back.

Platform
Windows XP IE 6 and IE 7
Adobe Standard or Professional 9.1.2 built with customization wizard 9.0

Thanks

Thanks I have seen and tried both of those. The first one I tried and did not work. The second has to do with the link being launched from a VB script or such and does not apply. Thanks for the links though, I am still looking for a solution. I also spent a few hours on the phone with support and have to say I was very disappointed in Adobe support. If I install version Adobe 7 it works fine.
