No, no and no - sorry! We can't make any details of future software releases public until the launch day, for obvious reasons, nor can we announce when the launch day will be.
One could guess there is one in the works because of the recent release of CS5 and MS Office 2010, but Adobe like all software developers remains quite because the features are not all worked out and being a publicly traded company does not want to release inaccurate information. Any outside testers, consultants, and employees are bound by non-disclosure agreements. This is pretty standard business practice with any R&D program in any business.
The schedules for each product line aren't related, so Acrobat, Creative Suite, Captivate, Media Server, etc. all update independently. You could look back at the release dates of previous versions and see if there's a pattern, but that'll only suggest that something may happen in a particular half-year.
Trust us, when Acrobat's next version appears, you'll find out soon enough. I expect there'll be just the teensiest bit of publicity.
Any Inside on when the new adobe acrobat 10 will be announced, what will change, what are the new features?
Well, here's what came out earlier this month, which looks to be pertinent to your query:
When Will Acrobat 10 Be Released, and What’s New? http://prodesigntools.com/when-adobe-acrobat-10-coming-out-and-whats-new.php
There seems to be some speculation as to whether it might be called "Acrobat X", which would be intriguing... I guess we'll see for sure this fall. Anyway, hope this helps.

It's good to see there's speculation (shows you're interested!) but as we've said many times, nobody's going to tell you anything about the launch date until the launch date. As Shantanu's comment says, "we are on track". Working towards. Aiming for. Hoping to be ready by. It's a work in progress, and as with all software projects progress is as predictable as the weather, even for those doing the work.
Of course for you guys, the good news is the longer it takes, the better it should be.
If you can't wait until release day to see a copy, register your interest in the forthcoming public pre-release program via our home page. No guarantees on being accepted when it opens, but it's worth a try.
