Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Professional/(patched to 8.1.2) has an interesting crash.

If I open Acrobat Pro, then open a PDF attachment in mail it works.
If I open Acrobat Pro and drag a file into it, it works!
If I boot up pc clean (or otherwise) then double click on a PDF, or I try to open a PDF attachment, I get the following error.

"Faulting application acrobat.exe, version 8.0.0.456, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000."

Any ideas for a fix, this has been true through an uninstall, reinstall, repatch.

This may be a problem with the Systems Registry. I suggest you contact someone how has experience in editing the Registry to see if thats the problem. You can edit the registry by typing in regedit in the Start box in Windows Vista.
