When I last updated Adobe Reader to 8.1, all my Adobe Acrobat Professional icons changed on all files. How do I get the Adobe Acrobat icon back for my files?

Hi denisemallal,

Try using the "Repair Acrobat Installation" in Acrobat Pro. under the Help manu. Help --> Repair Acrobat Installation to correct the problem.If you're using an older version of Acrobat Pro. I recommend reviewing the following technical note on Acrobat Product Interoperability at:

Thanks Lori! Well, I tried your suggestion, "Repair Acrobat Installation", but I still have the mystery icons for all my files instead of the proper Adobe Acrobat icons. By the way, I am using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1. Any other ideas?
