When opening a PDF a error comes up saying

Could you please let me know why that comes up. The document is able to be accessed but that error always comes up

Sounds like you have a third-party plug-in conflict -- IMan. Here is a link to a troubleshooting document for plug-in conflicts. There is detailed information under section 6.
