Adobe Readers X 10.1 for Mac - help with internet plug-in

hi - looking for help setting up internet plug-in to view PDF online. The Internet access plug-in is loaded. I have set Adobe Reader as default reader but in Safari I am still getting the error "Missing Plug-in". I have rebooted. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
