Allowing changes to pdf???? Stumped

Ok, so I got it to be able to change the color of the font in Acrobat by protecting it in LiveCycle, but the only way to have it work is if I go to properties and then go to the security settings, it shows that i'm not allowed to make changes. but then if I click the change settings and cancel out of it, it pops up with a message about setting or removing a password, but then changes it to allow me to change the font color.

My question is, is there a way I can default it to always allow changes? I'm not changing anything in the properties section, I'm just going from one tab to another and it works, but I'd liek to avoid that step if possible.

Thanks so much :)

I'm not sure exactly what is happening but this is a reminder that when you do a form in LiveCycle Designer you will not be able to edit it in Acrobat. You must open the form in LiveCycle Designer in order to make any changes.
