Appearance of cursor in full screen mode

I use pdfs as a presentation tool in a very large lecture theatre.
The classroom has a video projector which can display whatever is visible on the computer screen. I display the pdf in "full screen mode".
The default cursor is a (small) hand. I would like to be able to change it to an arrow (preferably larger than the hand and also colored).
Is there a way I can do this, ie 'customise' the cursor?
