With Acrobat 9.4.5 it is impossible to make new articles over two or more pages. By changing to next page acrobat makes a new article without asking for the name of the closes article. (The version-list below goes aktuell up to versions 9.4.3)
I often use this function and now I have a problem!

I am working with Acrobat since Acrobat 3 and I use the article-function since 2004 for hundreds of documents for my customers. your hint how to connect articles could be a workaround for some pages but not for about 400. It is just one of some new bugs built in in Acrobat.
pleas test by yourselfe with the actual version 9.4.5 how to make articles going over more than one page.

If you think this is a bug and requires a programing fix, then please report it to Adobe.

The article for creating the 'article' has the following description:
"Drag a rectangle to define the first article box. An article box appears around the enclosed text, and the pointer changes to the article pointer.
Each article box you create has a label that consists of the article number and its sequence within the article. For example, the first box for the first article is labeled 1-1, the second box 1-2, and so on. The boxes for the second article in the same document are labeled 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, and so on."
It is also possible to combine 2 article as described in the Help subject "Combine two articles".
