Automating the conversion of a set of PDF files into text files.

After splitting a PDF document into as many files as there are pages in it, I would like to rename each produced file with a numer contained in the file itself.

In order to do it, I should, repeatedly for each file, convert it into a text file with the same name. (Possibility to pilot acrobat X from an external application ?) After that it will be easy to get the number and rename the PDF file.

In the Acrobat X, it is possible to create actions which call tasks, but in the tasks proposed to be included in the created action, I don't see the saving of the document as a text file.

Has somebody an idea on how to do it.

Thanks

It's not necessarily required to convert the file to a text file in order to be find a piece of text from it and use it to rename the file. A custom-made script could possibly do that as well.
