Binders - any suggestions

Hi
I am trying to put a bunch of files onto a disc to distribute and the only way I can see to do it is to use "create from muliplefiles" this produces a binder. I have searched all the usual help files on BINDERS but cant track anything down. Anyone have any suggestions how I can learn about BINDERS?

Binder was a term used in Acrobat 7. There is a tutorial on this feature at:

In Acrobat 8 Help, there is an entire section titled "Combining PDF Content" on this functionality.

I have been barking up the wrong tree using Acrobat 7 Standard. It simply cant do the job I want it to, I need Acrobat 8 Pro because its the only one that can do catalog and I THINK thats what I need to put my manuals on a disc.
