I create large project document collections using different media such as drawings, digitals, reports, etc. During the project life, many of the bookmarks will change location within the collection. The collection is useful during project meetings for either reference info or presentations. It would be useful to have a bookmark associated with page groups and as the bookmark moves so do the page group. This helps when navigating during project meetings and also helps to limit confusion among project users who eventually get a file copy of the collection but do not use large pdfs very often. I have 7.0 at home and work is in the process of upgrading from 5.0 to 8.0 soon. Thanks for your input.

Unfortunately, Bookmark target locations are absolute. You might try using Named Destinations to see if that works for your documents. Be aware that Destinations will add a lot of overhead to your file sizes.
