I saw that there was no replies to this issue from 2 previous posts and I too am having this same issue with Acrobat X Pro.
Has anyone come across a way to make the bookmarks display properly in the bottom half of the page without skipping to the next page?

Under the Initial View, I've tried the Page Layout as Default, Single Page & Single Page Continuous. Magnification as Default and Fit Width.Under the View Menu, the Page Display is set to Enable Scrolling & Show Gaps Between Pages. Zoom is set to Fit Width.

before setting the link at a point near bottom of page, narrow the vertical dimension of the window so that the visible portion of the page where the link is to be set covers more than 50% of the narrowed window (and the visible portion of the following page covers less than 50% of the narrowed window). then set the link.

Thanks rbogie that worked. Certainly is hoaky that the application window needs resizing to get a bookmark to work. I hope they fix this in future.
