Is there a setting in Acrobat that allows me to set the Bookmarks tab to automatically open when another person opens it up in their Reader? Or will they always have to click the Bookmarks button to view all the Bookmarks?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8.1.2, Windows

on menu file > properties > document properties dialog > 'initial' tab > setting 'navigation tab' > select 'bookmarks panel and page'. And be sure to read HELP info found by click on HELP button (lower left corner of document properties dialog).

Thanks for the reply. I've found my way to the "Bookmarks Panel and Page" option on the drop down menu. I clicked "Ok" but it still doesn't work. I looked in the "Help" section like you said, but I don't see anything else I should have done. What am I missing?

Hi achrisman,

Did you save it after making the change?

Hope this helps,

I think that was the problem. That setting opens the "Bookmarks" the initial time the user opens it in their Reader. If they close the "Bookmarks" on their own, they will have to open it again by clicking the button.
