Hi Everyone

I'm a newbie to the forum so I hope I'm following the Forum's rules appropriately.

Using Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional:
I'm trying to access 'Execute a menu item' via Button Properties under the 'Actions' tab. When I press 'Add' I understand the 'Menu Item' list should appear where I can select 'View>Go To>Next Page'. However pressing Add brings up a box entitled 'Menu Item' but with the words 'Please select the menu item you want to execute from the menu bar'. Which I don't understand at all.

I'm using my own background element for the 'Next' and 'Previous' page icons created as part of a QuarkXPress doc.

Any suggestions to help overcome my confusion will be most welcome.

Michael

I don't have version 7, but I think you're expected to browse the actual menus and click the one you want to launch when the button is pressed.
