How do I stop the reader/reader plugin from caching documents. I want to read from the server/disk every time I open a document.

Hi

How are you opening the PDF?

Jon

I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999

I created a dynamic PDF form using Adobe Designer 7.0.9 (version-wise it's my only option), and when my customer opens the form in Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0.2 (again, version-wise it's their only option), the PDF they see has some text that appeared in a version of the form that I gave them in the past. For example, the URL from an earlier version of the PDF shows up in the new PDF that I gave them. The place where I'm noticing this is in certain Text objects (not Text Fields). This appears to be caching. Can I turn this off somehow?

You can use "nocache" and "noautocomplete" document properties in JavaScirpt to disable these features in the current PDF for users with version 7 or above.
