I am working for a construction company.
Occasionally, I run into the situation which I have to zoom in a section of drawing, and send the portion to sub contractors.
What I am looking for is the way to save the cropped section as a file with Acrobat Standard.
What I am doing right now is I print out the section, scan it, convert it to PDF format, and save it as a file.
Here is what I would like to do. I select a section of drawing, and cropped in letter size, lets say scale is 1/8" = 1'-0". I maintain the scale, and save as a file instead of going through scanning process.

anybody any advices?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8.0, Windows

You can use the Measuring tool to detail the area that you need to crop. Then use the Crop tool to select the specificed area of your page. Once your page is cropped, you can use the Document --> Extract Pages command to save just the cropped page.

Thank you very much. It worked very well. Now, I have another question.
Can I cut and paste an image or an obeject in a PDF drawing.
In other words, I want to cut spreaded information on the drawing, then put together somewhere in the drawing, then crop the section.
Can I do it?

This is probably best done as a image comment. Try this:
1. Copy an image in the PDF by using the snapshot tool (Tools > Select & Zoom > Snapshot Tool , and select an image from a PDF).
2. Choose Tools > Comment & Markup > Stamps > Paste Clipboard Image As Stamp Tool.
3. Put your cursor in the PDF where you want to image Comment to appear.

You can resize the image by selecting it and then draging one of its handles.

Your other option is to use the Touch Up tool to edit the image in Illustrator (vector) or Photoshop (image).

I follwed your instruction, but could not find the sequence [Stamp---Paste].
I have Acrobat Standard 6.0 by the way, I choose Tool --- Commenting --- Stamp Tool -- options I have here are ( Dynamic, Sign Here, Standard Business, Creat Custom Stamp, Add current stamp to favorites, manage stamps. I do not see the sequence you told me.

I thought you had Acrobat 8 (as noted on your first post) and unfortunately Acrobat 6 does not have this capability. One other option would be to create a blank PDF and then use the snapshot tool to copy the images and then Insert this PDF into your original document.
