Can spell check be set up to work on all comments, after they have been created? (not just checked as typing)

I enjoy using the spell check feature that works as you type comments by layinig a dotted red line underneath a questionably spelled word. I would also like t be able to check the spelling for all comments after I have comepleted them. I could not find a feature to do this.
1) Is there a way to do this using preferences, or someother option?
2) Short of doing it in Acrobat Pro, is there a way all comments can be quickly exported to MS-Word for example, for a spell check?
Thanks, Merry Christmas, 2010! - John

As you noted, the Acrobat Preference Spelling with Check spelling while typing (Available in Acrobat 8, 9, and X) does just that.

However, the Check Spelling tool permits a spell check of comments and form fields that are present in an open PDF.
This tool is one of the Edit tool bar tools (Acrobat 8 or 9).
When this tool's dialog is open clicking the "Start" button engages spell check.
Use Tools > Customize Toolbars and tick "Edit Toolbar" to add it to the visible tools at the top of Acrobat. With Acrobat X -
Edit > Check Spelling > In Comments, Fields, & Editable Text (F7) brings up the dialog window.

Be well...

Thanks, daka630, but I am using version 7.0 so I am out of luck on this one.

Answering my own question. Hope this helps someone else, too.

To spell check comments in Acrobat Pro v. 7, you can use the summarize comments option,
then save as an MS-word docuement, then spell check in Word and make the changes in Acrobat Pro.
You've either got to make notes as you go though the Word spell check, or keep Acrobat
open at the same and make the corrections there when Word finds a mistake.
