When I view a PDF in Acrobat 9 and click on an image it will only select a piece of it. The same PDF opened in a previous version let's you select the entire image and copy it to your clipboard. What causes this?
I don't know what this problem is caused, but it seems that the image is split into some separate frames. When you use the touch up tool you can see, if there a several frames which containing parts of the whole image.
Use the snapshot tool to copy the image to the clipboard. It generally takes pictures with 72dpi. To change the resolution you have to open the preferences and define the number of dpi under the general tab. Activate the tool, then mark the part of you PDF with a frame you want to copy. finished!
