We have Acrobat or Acrobat reader installed on many workstations. None of the versions are able to delete pages from Acrobat .pdfs. One user told be that she is sometimes able and not at other times. Any help in this matter is appreciated.

Reader is not able to delete pages, but with Acrobat, this can happen if the document has security applied or if PDF/A View Mode is on. To check for the latter, see: Edit > Preferences > Documents > PDF/A View Mode

Thank you. I don't know how it got set that way. No one here touched the settings.

Make sure you have opened Acrobat. If you have both Acrobat and Reader installed, then clicking on a PDF use Reader and you will not be able to delete the page. If you have Acrobat opened before clicking on a PDF, then the PDF will open in Acrobat.
Sounds like who ever set up the systems did not uninstall the packaged Reader that came with the systems.
