Cannot Open more than 1 PDF in Acrobat 9.1

Does anyone know why I can't open more than 1 PDF file in Acrobat without it crashing in Vista? I am able to do it on an XP computer that has Acrobat 9.1 but not on my Vista one.

Thanks,
Ryan.

Acrobat Pro 9.1, Windows

Is this something that you are doing programatically? If so, it may be related to Acrobat 9 dropping support for Multiple Document Interface (MDI).

Hi Ikassuba,

I'm not doing anything programmatically. With one window and PDF open, i double click on another PDF file to open and I get a windows error telling me that Adobe needs to close. This also happens when I open the file using File->Open. It's having a second file open that crashes it.Ryan.

Try Repairing your Acrobat 9 installation. Do you multiple versions of Acrobat/Reader installed?
