can't scan with Dell 968 printer after upgrade to Acrobat 8 Prof.

Am connected wirelessly to Dell 968w printer and never had a problem scanning to Acrobat. Then I upgraded to Acrobat 8.0 Professional, and when I try to scan, choosing Acrobat as the program to scan to, nothing happens. Dell tech support won't help because I can scan to other programs so they contend nothing is wrong with the printer's scan function. It's as if the printer doesn't "see" Acrobat on my computer now. Any help will be appreciated!

Since you've successfully scanned in earlier versions of Acrobat I would try creating a new user account and see if you can scan from that. It's possible that your account is corrupt. There are additional troubleshooting tips for scanning at:
