Combine two documents

Hello All,

I'm new to the forum and fairly new to Acrobat writer. I can create documents, that's easy, but what I would like to do is combine two documents that have the same number of pages, together.

Page 1 from left document

THEN

Page 1 from right document

etc.

The best analogy I can think of is when you shuffle a pack of cards from two piles!!

I hope that this makes sense and that I won't be baned before I start - Ha Ha :o

Thank You

What's your version of Acrobat?

Jon

I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999

Hello John Bessant,

Yes that would help - Version 7 Professional. Nobody in the company I work for can offer any help.

Thank You

Hello U258205,

I have not found the answer yet so what I do now is this.

Open up the two documents, then goto (Windows/Tile/Vertically) which sets them both side-by side. Then hit the (Pages Tab) for each document, which then shows the document document pages. Using the left set as the original I (Left Mouse Click - AND HOLD) and drag each page, one at a time, and place it at the correct position in the left document. Do this for each page.

Remember, this is a Copy/Paste operation so you need to come down each set of pages. Not very satisfactory and quite time consuming, but it works.
