Combining Multiple PDF’s with Passwords

Hello,

I’m trying to combine about 365 separate .pdfs into 1 large .pdf using the Combine files/folders option. Problem is that each of the pdfs has a password, all the same password. When I combine them it asks me to enter that password 365 times. I can’t figure out if there is a way to enter the password once and have it carry through to all the separate pdfs. Is there a way?

Thanks.

With Acrobat Professional one could use the batch process to remove the password.

In the future, you might want to keep a copy of the unprotected PDF and the source file from which the PDF was created. If you need security on this, rent a safe deposit box.

I saw the help menu answer for the batch process but I wasn't as clear as I would have liked. More manuals written by developers for developers. Any idea how I should go about using a batch process to remove the passwords?

Unfortunately the original files are someone elses so I don't have access to them without a password.

Thanks.
