I am trying to convert a pdf file to an excel readable spreadsheet. I am using the trial version of Acrobat 9.0. It will not convert. I can not get help from technical support nor can I get a guarantee that The full version of acrobat 9.0 will do this.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

Try Save as-(select Excel spreadsheet as the save as type). Results will be hit or miss, and you will probably have to adjust the sheets.
