converting PDF file to a tiff image?

Which adobe software would I need to enable a received pdf of an image which would be a continuous run/long image like a long graph to convert to a tiff image to be able to import into another software as tiff not pdf which is does not accept
Anyone?

This report/graph comes in a pdf so many pages and I assume I would have to be able to "stitch" it altogether in one of these to make a continuous image?This can be around 1ft to 30ft long....if able to create as one image to a tiff
Which is the easier/better software? is it a software I would have to buy in a large $$ package or is it easily downloadable in Acrobat latest version and easy to learn?

In this case Photoshop should be a better choice, but I don't know the max size of a TIFF imageā€¦

get a trial version of of the reasonably priced 'photoshop elements' and perform some tests.
