Copy and paste text location

We have recently changed from Acrobat 6.0 to Acrobat 9. I’m having problems with getting 9 to do something that 6 was able to do. I need to create PDF files with multiple pages that when paged through appear as an animation. With 6.0 I was able to type in a text on one page and then copy it to other pages within the file and it would paste in the same location relative to the page as the page that it was copied from. The problem that I am having with 9 is that when I paste the text into the new page it is repositioned to the center of the page. Is there a setting that can be change so that the pasted text box maintains the relative location?

A workaround would be using fields, and then duplicate them (access via context menu when in form edit mode or in select object tool). If you don't have any other fields (such as buttons), you can flatten the pages when done with your work.

It is a bit of a kludge, but it works.

Hope this can help.
