I have to copy/paste text from a PDF file to build a database, but spaces are added between text characters. This happen in all the computers I tested it and is using the copy/paste tool from Acrobat. Can I fix this, maybe modifing code? I have tried to paste the text into Word or WordPad but I still have spaces between text characters.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 6.0.5, Windows

I think we posted an answer to this question. Let's look a little farther.

Do you have the fonts installed on you computer that were used in the PDF? Try loading the same fonts, use the Save As command or Export task button and try to save out as a Word .doc file or RTF file. Then open in Word and try your copy/paste.

See if you can follow these steps. If you can't use the same font, you might have a font substitution problem and may not be able to export text with integrity.
