Can someone please provide me with "explicit" instructions on how to create a relative hypertext link in a pdf file to a specific page in another pdf file. These files will be sent to others, so I cannot have an absolute link.
Thanks!

Hi,

PDFs linked to other PDFs or files will have a specified link path.
If you run a link from PDF-1 to PDF-2 & both are adjacent to one another then, when relocated,
both PDFs must remain adjacent for the link to work.

If PDF-2 is nested two directories down then when moved the two directories and the nested PDF must
be present (in the same hierarchy & naming).Same if PDF-2 is "up" or "up" then "down" some number of directories.

The relative location must be maintained.
Adobe Reader / Acrobat resolves the "absolute" in context of the linked PDF's "home"
(the local machine, the web server, the network server).

Be well...

Thanks for the explanation! I was getting thrown by the properties of the link when it indicated it was going to my S (server) drive. But just tried it and moved to another location and it works great. Thanks again!
