I am using Acrobat 7 professional. I would like to set a destination to a place on a page, not to the top of the page. For example, I've set a link on page 2 to take me to a heading on page 6, but the heading is 2/3 the way down on the page. I don't want the link to go to the top of page 6, but actually have the heading, which is down the page, at the top after they've clicked the link. I've looked through all the help guides and am probably just missing it. Is there a way to do this?
When you set the link, you'll see the small dialog box that contains the Set Link command. Before you click that button, position the page (eg. page 6) so the heading is shown at the top of the page, and then click the Set Link button.
You have to be careful when using a location on a page, as if you set the view too low on the page, it shows the next page instead. Experiment a bit to get the location correct.
