Creating an open link to an Attachment

I am using Acrobat Professional 7.0. I would like to create a link to open a Word document I have added as an attachment.

I can link to, and open, external files - but it is not apparent to me how to launch an attachment thought the "Create Link" Dialog Box. I've checked Help, but it didn't "help" ;-)Anything I am missing here.
Thanks, Glenn

You have a couple of options.

You can use the attachment annotation tool to place an icon on the page that acts essentially as a link for the file. The icons are somewhat limited, but they work.

Second, there is probably a JavaScript you could attach to a Link Action that to do thist. I am not certain, but if it can be done Thom Parker in the JavaScript corner of this site can help.
