crop and enlarge objects for printing

I have a PDF file of a floor plan. I would like to crop the floorplan itself and enlarge it to make it easier to read the words in the drawing. The floor plans themselves are very small and we can hardly make out any of the words. We would like them to take up most of an 8 1/2 x 11 inch standard paper size - landscape. Is there any way I can do this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 7, Windows

Is this a scanned floor plan or was it converted to PDF from a drawing program? Can you read all the text when you zoom into the floor plan?

If you can read the text when you zoom in then a more effective method might be to define zoomed views that are activated from the bookmarks, look up destinations in Acrobat Help. If you can't read the text when zoomed then it's just not readable and scaling he pdf won't help.
