Hi,
is there a way to create my own custom keyboard shortcuts in Acrobat Pro?
Thanks.

Not any more. Adobe is removing the chance that a user might override one of their shortcuts. But one can create buttons for the toolbar.

What? That reasoning doesn't make sense. Where'd you read that?

Where was the ability to assign shortcut keys documented in any Adobe Acrobat documentation?

There was an undocumented method in version 4 and 5 that allowed one to assign the shortcut key to an added menu or submenu item, but it has not worked from version 6 on.

If the feature doesn't exist, it's because the program manager consider's the feature too low of a priority for the amount of time the developer tells him that it'll take to add it.

And it'll remain too low of a priority until enough of their users bug them about it to add it.

The statement, "Adobe is removing the chance that a user might override one of their shortcuts." is ludicrious.
