Hi,

I have document that has headers and footers on each page created outside of Acrobat Proffesional, and I need to delete some of the text on each of the pages. The document is 1500 pages, so I don't want to do it page by page, is there a way of doing the delete function in bulk across all the pages?

Many Thanks

Hayley

The short answer is likely 'yes', but the task will require custom scripting. There are many questions before one can understand the challenges and devise a solution. Are the 1500 pages in image pdf or renderable text pdf? Is the text to be deleted in exacly the same position on all the pages? For example, if you wanted to delete the first and third lines of a five line header and to have the result appear as if the deleted lines did not exist at all, the project may require deleting the entire header and replacing it with a reworded header. If you edited each page, one by one, describe the steps you would you apply to a page. Would you apply the same steps to all the pages?
