I understand it is not possible to change the values/settings of an Acrobat dialog box with JS.
I also see from another posting that it's possible to save default settings under 'Advanced Print Setup'.
My question is whether it's possible to change the default values/settings of other dialog boxes, possibly through Acrobat's set up files or perhaps the Registry. I'm particularly interested in changing the defaults for the "Acrobat Scan" dialog box.
Specifically, I'd like the box to always show, under 'Sides:" 'Both Sides", rather than the default of "Front Sides" and I'd like to default to "New PDF Document" rather than "Append".
Any ideas.

Short answer - no. The defaults for some features can be modified, but not for the scan dialog box.
