Dear all,

I am working for an Information Kiosk machine solution. During browsing a site there are some download pdf links. I found the reader 9.x provided many configuration option which is not preferred in a Kiosk machine. Even I downgrade to 6.x, there is still a "Save" option to have chance to update something locally. Any solution to avoid such a flexibility in a Kiosk machine?

Thanks a lot.

My Product Information:
Reader 9.3, Windows

No. The menus in Reader can be hidden (F8) but cannot be disabled - also, to view the PDF means it has already been downloaded, so the concept of stopping that operation is meaningless.

Of course with Adobe Reader, users cannot edit the PDF except in the ways that might be permitted by the document author (form fields and commenting), so the downloaded copy is not usually a problem.

Thanks UVSAR. I accept the pdf already been downloaded. But I found I could hide/disable some option in the reader interface by Registry or Kiosk tools setting. That made the Kiosk machine more safety. Not sure if any method even we allow the download, but minimize the actions that the public who access the kiosk to produce any harm. Thanks again.
