Disabling scroll button preview

I want to know how to disable the box that apears and freezes the page while I'm trying to use the scroll bar / button to go down the page.

This version of acrobat is the worst pdf reader I've ever used. They managed to make reading a page annoying. If I try to right click and scroll down I get stopped at the bottom of the page, if I try to scroll with the scroll bar butten it only goes page by page and shows me that annoying box , If I want to scroll with my mouse wheel IIt takes 2 days to get down the page.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 10.0, Windows

Hi Jchase520 -

That box can't be disabled, but you don't have to use it. Just keep your mouse out of the way of the reading controls and you won't enable it. As for other forms of scrolling - there isn't any difference in Acrobat X from earlier versions.

Acrobat 8, 9, and X provide six Page Display selections.
Three of the six do not bring up the page thumbnail nav aid when using the mouse cursor to drag the right side scroll button.

These three Page Display options are:
--| Fit to Width Scrolling
--| Enable Scrolling
--| Two Page Scrolling

Placing the desired Page Display icons on the Toolbar:
Acrobat 8 or 9 > Open the More Tools dialog, scroll down to view the choices for Page Display Toolbar. Tick the desired options. The selected items are placed on the toolbar..
.
.

Acrobat X > Right click on the Toolbar. Select Page Display. Tick the desired display option to place it on the Toolbar.n.b., View the choices provided by "Edit" as well. Other useful items (such as Find, Advanced Search, and Check Spelling) are available there.

Be well...
